A simple cafe with lots of beautiful hand drawing on the wall, with the theme of black and white. It was named after the street of Dicken, just opposite to the side door of Penang's main police station. They don't have big signage in front their shop, but shouldn't be difficult to locate since they are the only cafe along the street for now. They have special menus which able to drawn me try again the next time.
Croissant with Smoke Chicken (RM 8.80) was served on wood platter. I would say it is quite hard to find a nice croissant in Penang and I believe this should be one of the best. They came with the other options of Egg Mayo and Tuna. The croissant was very crunchy and buttery. Salad vege was fresh and the mayonnaise was delectable. The chicken slice was welly smoked.
Tuna & Tomato Pizza (RM 13.80) came in the form of thin crust. The pizza's edge was a little bit hard to my liking, however the tuna and tomato paste was toothsome. Â The portion of their food was relatively small. If you come to enjoy a gratifying meal, you might have to order side dishes as well.
Classic Vanilla Crème Brulee (RM 6.80) was a little disappointing. The sugar top was over caramel-ed and left strong bitter after taste, while the egg mixture can be much smoother.
Banana & Orange Juice (RM 6.80), a glass of healthy and high fiber drink. Every sip in your mouth give you nectarous banana aroma with the freshness of orange.
