As most of the Penangites are fans of spicy food, how far you can go for the spicy level? This restaurant offers the range from Level 1 to Level 40!!! Yeah! No typo here! I have consulted their waitress and normally people here goes until level 7 only. In my opinion, foods shouldn't be over spicy, because ones might just miss the beauty of its original flavor.Â
Generous bowl of Gekikara Ramen (RM 17.00), came with Chinese cabbage, meat slices, enoki mushroom and topped with crunchy prawn tempura. We have chosen the spicy level of 3 and we found it just nice, the sweetness came from the broth was still there. Every sip of the soup just awaken my taste bugs.Â
Greenish Ocha Soba (RM 17.80), the dipping sauce's saltiness was just nice for the buckwheat noodle. Added on bird egg with scallion to the dipping sauce seem didn't make much different though. This soba set came with a bowl of tempura as side dish.
Salmon Mayo Sushi (RM 8.00) was quite a huge piece, I would grade it as above average.
