Claypot Bee Tai Bak 沙煲珍珠粉 @ Lintang Paya Terubong 3, Penang

When thought of Bee Tai Bak, or some usually call it Lou Xu Fun in cantonese, ones usually thought of the dark sauce kind of lou xu fun. However, there is one standalone makeshift stall hidden among residential selling this starchy kind of claypot bee tai bak.

Their Claypot Bee Tai Bak(RM 4.80) came with the size option of small or big. The small one we ordered was relatively small comparing to the sambal plate. It is good to served as snack though. We were really impressed with the sharp fin soup kind of bee tai bak. The crunchy and fresh sprout with the shallot confit gave extra texture to the sticky bee tai bak. I would said the soup was well flavored to my liking.

Steamy hot Sizzling Plate Noodle (RM 4.80) came with creamy sauce too. The noodle was pretty chewy and served with egg, fish cake and vege.

They have claypot noodle and claypot rice as well.

3 layers milk tea (RM 2.80) came in very huge cup. However, I still prefer the 3 layers milk tea in Kuching more.

Their makeshift stall situated next to the bus stop along the road of Lintang Paya Terubong 3, at the intersection between Lintang Paya Terubong 5 and Lintang Paya Terubong 3. Due to their chef heartily cook bowl by bowl, its better you make your order through phone before you come.
