Little coffee shop at the corner of the shop lots at the end of Campbell street, close to the exit to Penang Road. One could easily overlook this coffee shop. You might need to park your car few streets away and walk over here. But, nice food worth the walk right?
Toh Soon Cafe
It is crowded inside. Their waiter was too busy and only take our order after we sat there for about 5 mins. If all the tables are fully occupied, you might need to share table with others.
They have their own uniform.
Thick hot coffee on the left and cold coffee on the right. Of course, hot one has thicker and stronger coffee fragrance but cold one not bad too.
Second attempt on their coffee wasn't that great comparing to my first.
Classic way of scorching the kelena bread aka Indian bread. It's rare finding people using this conventional charcoal toasting way already.
Original bread with kaya. The bread was evenly seared and the kaya paste was really good.
Crunchy toasted coffee bread with peanut butter jam. Wondering why the coffee bread was much more crunchy than the original one.
Half boiled egg
Scrumptious stirred half boiled egg with own customized volume of soy sauce & pepper.
