The Millen Penang Welcomes the Chinese New Year with Its First Festive Collection

The Millen Penang, Autograph Collection, proudly introduces its first Chinese New Year festive celebration, presenting a thoughtfully curated collection of Chinese New Year dining experiences designed for family reunions, corporate gatherings, and joyous celebrations. From auspicious set menus and prosperity Yee Sang to festive cocktails and elegant banquet offerings, The Millen invites guests to usher in the Chinese New Year with abundance, togetherness, and refined elegance.

To mark the occasion, The Millen presents a series of festive culinary experiences across its dining venues, complemented by bespoke Chinese New Year banquet celebrations hosted at the hotel’s Ballroom, Level 3. Guests are invited to gather with loved ones at Lili, Level 2, from 16 to 18 February, to enjoy a selection of specially curated Chinese New Year set menus. The Auspicious Reunion Set Lunch, available from 12.00pm to 2.30pm, is priced at RM168 per person and features highlights including Fortune Nourishing Chicken Soup with Wild Brazil Mushroom, Salt-Braised Village Chicken of Prosperity, Prosperity Braised Sea Treasures with Broccoli, Golden Cantonese Fried Rice with Waxed Meat, and Golden Mango Sago Mousse Delight, served with Chinese tea.

For evening celebrations, the Golden Splendour Set Dinner is available from 6.00pm to 10.00pm at RM268 per person, offering an indulgent dining experience with premium selections such as Double-Boiled Morel Mushroom & Black Chicken Nourishing Soup, Traditional-Style Smoked Duck Leg with Aromatic Herbs, Braised Abalone, Fish Lips and Flower Mushroom with Garden Greens, Fragrant Lotus Leaf Rice with Assorted Waxed Meat, and Fortune Peach Gum with Longan and Snow Fungus Sweet Soup, accompanied by Chinese tea.

To enhance the festive dining experience, guests may opt for the Millen Yee Sang, available as an add-on for both set lunch and dinner, ideal for sharing between two to four persons. Options include Vegetable Sliced Yee Sang at RM58, Abalone Sliced Yee Sang at RM98, and Prosperity Lobster Sashimi Yee Sang at RM138. Bottomless wine is also available as an optional add-on at RM98 per person.

At Good Society, Level 1, from 17 January to 28 February, guests can celebrate the season with Music & Mixology – Chinese New Year Edition, featuring three specially crafted Chinese New Year–inspired cocktails —B.O.W, OOH! Long Iced Tea, and Tea-Riffic. Available on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion at RM88, the experience is paired with live music, offering a lively and stylish setting for festive gatherings.

For larger-scale celebrations, The Millen Penang offers elegant Chinese New Year banquet packages at the Ballroom, Level 3, from 1 February to 3 March, ideal for corporate dinners and family reunions.
