Executive Suite Stay
Nothing beats the epitome of elegance and comfort offered during a stay in the Executive Suite. Featuring a spacious bedroom with a Getha FHD Mattress, a separate living room equipped with an executive desk and a bathroom with bathtub.
The moment we walked into our bedroom, we were surprised with the towels folded to resemble swans, along with dozens of red and pink balloons to cheer up the Valentine mood.
We enjoyed the idea of having separate bedroom and living room. While Shirleen is having a nap after check-in, I can use my laptop to do some daily chores with almost no interruption to her quality nap on the comfy Getha Mattress. There is even a couch, should I decided to take a nap too.
After a long day, the availability of the bathtub allows us to unwind ourselves and pamper the body for some much needed relax. The hotel provides great bathroom amenities that included New York branded Malin+Goetz natural ingredients shampoo & cleanser, along with Colgate toothpaste.Â
More importantly, the Executive Suite offers an unparalleled view of the urban city of Bayan Baru that includes Setia SPICE Arena. It gets particularly charming during sunset and sunrise, when the rays of light shine to the concrete building to create a golden landscape view.
In-room 5-course Fusion Set Dinner for 2 person
One of the great and memorable moment during the Valentine Suite Stay is the in-room 5 course fusion set dinner. From the setup, decoration, service, food and timing, everything were executed to perfection!
The table was prepared right beside the table during our check-in. Therefore, you will be assured a romantic evening dinner with urban sunset view. Rose flower petals replica were used to decorate the table, and the candle will be lit up during the dinner.
You may specify you preferred dinner time to the hotel crew. Each of the dishes will be brought separately to your room and time can be specified accordingly to the crew till the next dish arrives to your doorstep. Such impeccable service and care displayed by the hotel allowed you to have a well spent evening with your the other half during the night.

We began with the appetizer, a nicely prepared Grilled Smoked Duck. It is served along with pineapple jam that impart a subtle sweetness, and the introduction of spicy aioli made the appetizer tingle the taste buds and prepare the appetite for subsequent dish. A well executed appetizer.
Next, we continued with cream of broccoli soup and followed by orange sorbet. Something warm to stimulate the stomach, and then some light sweetness to prepare the tongue for the main dish.
There are 3 main courses - Braised Lamb Shoulder, Pan Fried Salmon Fillet and Marinated Chicken Roulade which we get to choose 2 out of the options. I had the Braised Lamb Shoulder. It was brilliantly braised to possess juicy meat, and coupling with mashed potatoes to give it a sleek finishing.
On the other hand, the Pan Fried Salmon Fillet is such delicate with moist flesh and crisp skin. It it served along with saute freshly made Japanese Soba and the green tea sauce gives it a sweet yet light finishing.
Then we ended our date with a Chocolate Banana de Gato as dessert. Simply loved the wondrous combination of banana + chocolate!

In-room Breakfast
The hotel was so thoughtful even to serve the breakfast directly to your doorstep to allow you have a maximum privacy during the staycation. We get to choose the choice of egg - omelette, poached egg, sunny side up (you name it), along with hashed browns, hams and chicken sausages.Â
Separately, a tray featuring various pastries, orange juices, coffee, cereals and fruits will be brought too.Â
For the first times ever, such luxurious treatment accorded made we feel like being a king and a queen for a day. How we wish the day never end, and for one second we thought we were staying in our cozy home at Olive Tree Hotel.
