Finding a place for a short stay in Kuala Lumpur is always difficult.
Difficult as in the sense there are so many hotels or places to choose from, and the price also come into factor. Some fetch as high as few thousands for a night with 5 stars facilities and services such as those located within the vicinity of Golden Triangle, while some could go real low with less than RM 100 with a simple bed in dormitory setting.
Recently, we discovered this hotel, or serviced suites - The Signature Hotel & Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur located at Mont Kiara. The price is affordable - fluctuating around RM 150 when we booked using Agoda.Â
What we really liked the hotel is the strategic and quiet location at Mont Kiara. The strategic location gives great accessibility to various destinations in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.Â
Moreover, the room itself is spacious with comfy beds. There is a kitchen equipped with ovens attached, should you need to perform light cooking. Utensils are provided too. There is even a refrigerator should you need to buy some goodies and store them.
The only downside of the room is the poor sound proof system. We can hear whenever people pass by the corridors, especially kids shouting voice.
Basic amenities are provided in bathroom also and will be replenished, and there will be cleaners assigned for room services on daily basis. This is good as usually Airbnb services providers usually do not provide room services on a daily basis; cleaning is only done once you check out.Â
There is a swimming pool and fitness center at the top of the serviced suites too, sharing the same floor with the reception counter. Parking is provided complimentary, just get your tickets to the reception.
No breakfast is provided though. Nevertheless that is not a factor to worry about, as there are numerous restaurant located within the vicinity. Even in the midnight there are still operating food stalls and Happy Mart to cater to your needs.
Overall, it was a nice stay in this serviced suites with affordable price.Â
