There lies a new commercial lot opposite of the prominent Icon City that houses several restaurants, and one of them that caught our attention is Saint Love. The cafe cum restaurant serves modern and fusion cuisine, alongside with a few selection of wines for your romantic dinner. On top of that, budget savvy patrons would be glad the lunch set is available at RM 15 nett for a main meal and a drink.

The menu features a range of dishes, from the affordable spaghetti to the much exquisite steak. As we were there for late lunch, Spaghetti Pesto Clam (RM 21.90) and Signature Pork Burger (RM 25.90) were our choices.

We felt the noodles of the spaghetti pesto clam were well executed to al-dente texture, accompanied by fresh clams and light herby sauce. Cheesy fanatics would scream in delight upon seeing their Signature Pork Burger as it was topped with a generous quantity of overflowing cheese, presumably made from combination of Mozzarella and some other cheeses, as the bed of cheeses still maintained its liquidity and not hardened after some time, serving more to glaze the patty instead as an pretentious layer. The homemade patty is thick and possessed a tender texture. If there was one thing that could be further improved to enhance the overall experience, it would be their bun could be toasted more to provide a crisp texture.

Another thing that caught our attention is their special drink of the day (RM 13.00) , which happened to be mixture of Mocha of Matcha during our visit. Surprisingly, this combination worked well, exhibiting both traits of Mocha and Matcha at once.

On and off, Saint Love will treat their customers with Earl Grey Jelly (with or without syrup), which is a true light dessert appeasing to the palate. We were privileged to be served some preserved mangoes from the restaurant, which prepared from their home grown mangoes as well.
