Chulia Street welcomes another new and modest cafe on the varieties of eateries along the bustling street in the heart of Georgetown. Passer-by may not noticed the presence of Roast & Bake, a cafe that only owns a small menu but serves one of the best Porchetta (roast pork) in the town. The humble cafe is located beside The Ais cafe, and it is easily missed out if you did not pay attention to it

Classic porchetta RM16.90

The Porchetta is available in 3 flavours - Classic, Mamamia and Asian. At one instance, RM 16.90 may seems to be expensive for 2 pieces of Classic Porchetta but the size and quality rightly justified the price. The porchetta is big in size, with crackling skin and perfectly seasoned meat, It is served along with 3 different condiments - Ginger, Mint and Brown Sauce, then sitting on a decent quantity of coleslaw.

For us, the Porchetta taste is perfect even without the condiments, though flirting the Porchetta with the different combination of condiments yield a different level of enjoyment. It is one of the best Porchetta we have enjoyed thus far, and will definitely worthy for a second visit.
