You can now enjoy authentic and delicious at Hongdae Korea BBQ in New World Park without travelling to Korea. Manned by a Korean, authenticity and quality are an assurance. The restaurant is never short of popular Korean dishes such as Samgyetang Ginseng Stew, Bibimbap, Kimchi Jjigae and many more. Just like the Korean eateries in Korea, Hongdae Korea BBQ practies an open air concept without air-conditioning, but this seemingly disadvantage has in fact makes here an ideal destination for Gogi-Gui (Korean BBQ)

| Samgyetang Ginseng Stew (RM 38) |
We sampled a few of Korean signature dish such as Samgyetang Ginseng Stew (RM 38) and Kimchi Jjigae (RM 18). The iconic Korean summer dish Ginseng Stew though may not suitable for the scorching hot weather in Malaysia but the taste outweigh the factor. Chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice, the broth is rich and tasty, and the ginseng flavoured chicken is tender and delicious. We could practically eat and chew the bone as it has been boiled for hours prior serving to us. Overall, this dish is a reflection on the sincerity of the restaurant put into their dish preparation.
Meanwhile, Kimchi Jjigae has a nice sweet and mild spicy taste, which is smooth when drink down to the throat. The acidity from the kimchi was just nice to make the overall dish pleasurable.Â

Bibimbap here is delicious too. The rice has been cooked that certain part of it has sticked to the pot, resulting a segment of crisp and crackling rice texture. Ingredients was were rich, and we simply could not find any reason not to enjoy it.
On top of regular Korean dishes, there are Korean BBQ as well which you can order, and it best accompanied by makgeolli or soju to cool down your body.
