If you happen to pass by Taman Pekaka, you will realize one of the stall outside of Happy Cafe is always packed with an exodus of crowd. As a matter of fact, distance away from the destination you can scent the aroma derived from Zul's Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah. It is a simple and no-frills choice of dinner with only a single combination allowed - rice, fried chicken, cucumber and topped with special chili sauce. Yet, it is never shy from popularity from those foodies.Â
Regardless for take away and having here, just join in the queue and order how many packets of rice you wanted and wait for the boss to prepare your orders. Every part of the ingredients in this simple dish play a role to yield this delectable dinner - the perfectly fried and marinated fried chicken with averagely tender meat, a mixture of slight sweet and spicy green chili sauce, some curry sauce, flakes of the fried chicken (must have!) and two slices of cucumbers to serve as a source of fibers.Â
Conventionally Zul's Nasi Kukus is served along egg but it was missing from our plate as we were late during the visit. Although the fried chicken is nice in taste, the serving size is relatively small, thus do request for two pieces if you come here with a growling stomach.Â

Another savoury dish to enjoy at Happy Cafe during dinner hour will be Claypot Chicken Rice. It is best eaten when you request for for salted fish top up, though we feel there could be more dark soy sauce in the rice to give it a kick. Add on some chili for a spicy sensation.
