Iconic Hotel hosted its first ever Iconic Business Ball on 15th December 2017 as an appreciation to all parties who have been working with them. Iconic Business Ball is an auspicious event as they announced they have been given the honourable 4 stars status, and earning two international accolades - Luxury New hotel and Luxury Design Hotel in the recent World Luxury Hotel Award 2017 in Switzerland. Besides, the newfangled hotel launched a new slogan for the brand new year 2018 "Be Our Friend, Not Just Guest", inspired to be a modern style hotel that offers an unique staying experience. Although Iconic Hotel may be new to the industry, they have recorded a sterling performance of average 80% occupancy rate during their infancy year in 2017.Â
It was a starry starry night with purplish light torching the ballroom and guests were dressed elegantly in black and silver dress code. The event was graced by Y.B. Danny Law, Penang State Exco of Tourism, alongside with the hotel's director Datuk Lucky Tan, Malaysian Association of Hotels Penang chapter chairman Khoo Boo Lim and hotel's general manager Jack Lim.Â
We were served the hotel 2018 Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner (a table of 10 pax; 1 February 2018 - 2 March 2018). The packages details as follow:

Throughout the night, we were entertained and have to alternate our attention between the shows and the delicacies served to us. The most entertaining show would be talents from Iconic Hotel staff, whereby they mimic the Taiwanese Boy Band - F4 with a hilarious dance synchronized with the band famous song "Meteor Rain". There were also introduction of the hotel new 2018 uniforms, magic show and live band in between.Â
