Cafe Pinggiran Laut @ Batu Maung, Penang

Thanks to our friend brought us exploring this hidden Malay Cafe at Permatang Damar Laut. This hunble eatery is unquestionably hidden, tucked within the Malay houses with sea view. We went through a few turn of small roads only arrived by the beach. The dining concept is similar to nasi kandar style, offering variety of curries dishes with Kari Sembilang been their signature. This popular curry is using their original family recipe from Hj Rossli since year 1999. It was therapeutic enjoying lunch with sea breeze and view during the middle of the bustling day.

The dishes prepared here are comprehensive including fish, prawn, squid and chicken. However, their ikan sembilang dishes would only available subject to availability. I picked fried chicken with fried onion simply due to my addiction of nasi bawang, balanced with green bean.
