The emergence of 268 Hokkien Mee, located at the front portion of the TNT Motors shoplot, offers simple hokkien mee option with some topping options to add on such as fish ball, prawns and pork ribs.
They used to sell in Jelutong market in the morning and this is their new location. Penang Hokkien Mee or prawn mee, it comes with springy yellow noodles and rice vermicelli. The aromatic prawn soup is the heart of the dish that one can vividly tell it is the extract from the prawn shells.
Classic toppings were added like prawns, slices of chicken meat, poached eggs and fried shallots. The chilli paste is served alongside and its the key to give the broth an extra kick. Add more if you want to have a deeper and spicier flavour.
