SweetTalk Dessert, who are speciallized on the traditional desserts has expanded their business to Bayan Lepas area with new outlet at Arena Curve. Alongside their signature menu, this branch also features a few exclusive specials for diners in the neighbourhood. It's a sweet addition to the area, nice for anyone looking to enjoy desserts after a meal or simply to satisdy a sugar craving.
The menu here is extensive, offering a mix of traditional, Thai and Taiwanese desserts. They also introduces some exclusives such as their black sesame series, fried kuih bakul with sweet poato and even a selection of mains infused with Siam-inspired flavours.
During our visit, we opted for something comforting from their traditional dessert range, Ginger Soup with Big Rice Ball (RM 7.90). The soup was warm with just the right kick of gingery, chewy small rice ball with two big rice ball filled with black sesame and peanut.
We also ordered the Mango Pulut Ice Cream (RM 14.90). I was kind of expecting some pulut rice in it but were surprised to find the ice cream paired with glutinous rice balls. The ice cream was great, carried the coconut fragrance, freshness from the mango, and the chewy rice ball for combination of mixture makes it a refreshing treat, especially on a hot day.
