The Wafu Japanese restaurant established a new joint - Ramen Wafu in Elite Avenue. Claimed to be specialized in Ramen, Ramen Wafu offers a range of Ramen and Don at a relatively affordable price. If you have additional budget to splurge, just top up RM 8 to have your meal in 6 in 1 set, which has the main dish served along a side dish of your choice, drink, fruit, cawanmushi and bottomless flow of ice cream. Overall, Ramen Wafu offers a decent place for you to seek for a comforting bowl of Ramen. However, elsewhere should be your consideration if you are up to an upscale and authentic Ramen.
Volcano Ramen |
Wafu Signature Ramen |
We had both Wafu Signature Ramen and Volcano Ramen in the 6 in 1 set. Between these 2 options, we preferred the Volcano Ramen due to its heat component. The Wafu Signature Ramen is moderate in terms of their depth of flavour and did not really intrigue us to enjoy more of it.
Glad to see there is presence of half a serving of onsen egg in every bowl of ramen. If these onsen eggs are marinated to allow a stronger absorption of flavour, then it would have been great!
Signature Pan Fried Gyoza |
Takoyaki |
The side dishes we ordered were served interestingly via a central conveyor train belt. Although different side dishes are priced differently, you may feel free to pick any of the side dishes in the 6 in 1 set at the flat rate of RM 8, along with other goodies, which we felt it was a great deal.
Signature Pan Fried Gyoza did not shine as it was not crispy at the exterior and tasted soggy in texture. However, the Takoyaki was alright in taste.
Upon finishing all the side dishes, we get to take as much as ice cream we like in the ice cream counter.
