Ixora Hotel welcomes Ramadan 2018 with an array of Iftar offerings, boasting more than 160 mouth-watering specialties from Malay traditional cuisine such as Kambing Panggang Golek, Shawarma Ayam, Ayam Kuzi Berempah dengan Kmsmis, Daging Dendeng Madu and many more. There will be live cooking stations to prepare the dishes freshly from the counter for you to break fast as well. The buffet is priced at RM 58 nett per adult and RM 45 nett per child.

Do not miss out the kambing golek during the Buffet Ramadan at Ixora Hotel as it was really delicious. It was grilled to perfection with a tender and succulent meat, to the extent the lean meat did not feel dry. Of course, if you are not afraid of some fat, go for the fat part as the taste and texture were too great to resist. Goes well with the minty strong that gives a pleasant minty flavour.

The hot dishes counter did offer a few outstanding dishes such as Daging Dendeng Manu, Kupang Masam Manis, Sambal Tumis Kerang dengan Ubi Kentang and a few more. Of all the dishes highlighted, it is commendable the curry dishes are impressive. It was really enjoyable having the curry related dishes with Nasi Minyak Pelangi.Â
Of course, do not forget to take some Shawarma from the Warung Kebab Pak Hakim located just beside the hot dishes counter.

On the 21st May 2018, Ixora Hotel Penang hosted a breaking fast event with the children from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Taman Bakti. The General Manager, Mr. Andreas Bourdon also shared the joys of Ramadhan with the orphans by helping them to take food and distributing green packets for all the children.Â
