If you are going to Cameron Highlands, it is very unlikely you will miss out Lavendar Garden, a relatively new attraction at Tringkap open in the year 2013. As the name suggests, it is a floral theme park, with a small field of lavender on the slop that becomes the main attraction of tourists going to Cameron Highlands. Entrance fees of RM 10 is imposed to all tourists, which we felt was little pricey. Typical tourist place yeah..
One of the sensation and Instagramable thing to do is to snap a lavendar ice cream with the small lavender field as background. The ice cream did not come cheap though. Priced at RM 6 per cone, it is nothing much to shout about. The lavender taste is not impressive but in fact awkward instead.Â
Then there is a small scale field of lavender, which is impossible to take a good picture because the flocking of tourists and the best picturesque spot is occupied by a booth take your picture and you pay the money. It is entirely up to your choice to pay and get the services.
Then there are many different flowers with different colours in different segment of the garden. It is nice to look at and enjoy the scenery, while relax yourself.Â
Then there is the love bridge lock, where you get to buy a lock and write any love message for your partner then chain them up to the bridge. It appears this is such a popular trend in tourist spots nowadays which we felt tired of it, in fact. What happen when your loved one decided to break with you after you put the lock up, do you go back to the place and unlock it or just leave it as it?Â
Head up further to the hill then you will arrive at a flower garden. Crowd is lesser here considering the area is bigger. You can pluck the flower here for a price, which we forgot how much does it cost.Â
Strawberry plucking is available here too for a price. Instead of going to the crowded strawberry farm, perhaps Lavender Garden is a better choice?
Further head up then there is a cafe on top of the compound. They sell Lavender cheese cake, which we wonder how will be the taste. It is a nice spot to stop by and enjoy the scenic view as well.
