EPiC is Malaysia's first and only purpose-built delivery restaurant offering real food delivery service, covering a major part of Klang Valley. They are currently having 3 outlets at Damansara Perdana, Sunway and Mont Kiara, promising 45 minutes deliver and 15 minutes take away guarantee. Considering the hectic lifestyle and time limitation living in Klang Valley, EPiC appears to hit bull's eyes of the needs of people living there.Â
EPiC serves a variety of food for takeaway, such as pizzas, burgers, burritos, chickens and some classics such as nasi lemak and curry. A plus point given to the delivery restaurant as they detailed the calories and major nutritional contents (carbohydrate, protein and fat) for all the food, well catering for the group of health conscious population.
We had a Shrimp Affairs Pizza (RM 19.80), partly attracted by its lowering calories intake. The pizza resembles a classic Italian pizza in appearance, though in reality it feels like roti canai when having it. Not an offense statement but the taste was alright. Toppings of the pizza includes a handful of prawns (though the name of the pizza is shrimp?), cherry tomatoes, parsley and a thin layer of mozzarella. It serves well for some bites for a quick fix of dinner.Â
The Chicky Chummy (RM 19.80) seems promising upon we unveil its boxes. The patty is unique on its own and have to be dip with the Epic's secret XXX sauce to gives it a boast in taste, otherwise it might taste plain.Â
All the ala carte menus can be upgraded to a set which is served with a side dish and soft drink of your choice. We thought the spiced baked wedges were nicely executed, well portraying the delivery restaurant's image of serving healthier version of food to their patrons. It was well seasoned too.Â
