The statement above well delineated the Northern Indian cuisine served at You Le Yuen, a boutique homestay along the quaint Love Lane.

Western Roast Chicken

The kitchen primarily aims to cater the guests residing in You Le Yuan but walk-in guest are more than welcome to enjoy the cuisine here. The dishes are prepared by the chef whom hailed from Nepal but have an extensive knowledge on Northern Indian cuisine. Nevertheless, the dishes have underwent localization to cater for local taste buds.

They served a very simple menu. It is either rice or wrap set with a flat rate of RM 28.00 including a cup of coffee or tea, and option to go for either pork or chicken. We sampled the Western Roast Chicken, and the way to enjoy it was to put the nicely roasted chicken, potato salad, special sauce, spring onions and cucumbers into the naan bread and wrap it.

Just be wary on not putting too much potato salad sauce into the naan bread otherwise risk having it leak from the naan wrapper.

The Rice Set with Pork Masala was served in an antique plate, with a serving of salad, a poached egg and a bowl of pork masala garnished with sliced spring onions. The taste was lovely and rich, perhaps thanks to the clever usage of masala.
