Although Frank Laurent has been nested in Udini Square for a month now, last Saturday 8th of August mark the official grand opening for Udini Square. Of course, Frank Laurent was actively involved by offering free testing of their signature handcrafted coffee, Pour Over, and waffle.

Frank Laurent occupied the most prominent spot, you will easily spotted the high class looking cafe when you pass by the bustling road of Lebuh Tunku Kudin. With the glass window, ample of sunlight flooding in the cafe and thus bright up the space. However, we find the seats rather limited, easily filled up probably because they are the only cafe here. The desserts they offered was a bit different with prices that wallet friendly.

Chocolate Luxury (RM 8) immediately caught out attention, not only because of its name but also its presentation. It was a thick and rich chocolate in the coffee cup, giving us the instantaneous melt in the mouth texture. We were impressed and feeling guilty over our diet plan. Those who love nutella, would absolutely enjoy this. Sprinkle of almond slices were added to balance the creamy texture.

There are 3 types of waffle available: Plain Waffle with Ice Cream, Mixed Berries Waffle and Chocolate Banana Waffle. We opted for Mixed Berries Waffle (RM 18) as we do not wish to have overly chocolate tea break. Although the waffle size a little small but I am satisfied with the thickness. Strawberry and blueberry were very fresh while the sweetness berries sauce was just nice. Topped with Vanila ice cream if you must know.
