Ch'ng Chon Kooi Ice Blended 莊秋贵(大肥叔) 搅冰小食馆 @ Sungai Petani, Kedah

The boss has been operating since 1978 and famous for their signature blended drinks. Well, the drink here is indeed unique, they offered ice blended fruits and at the same time, there were choices of peanut ice blended, red bean ice blended and corn ice blended! 

Peanut Ice Blended 花生搅

All the three types of ice blended are priced at RM2.30, and comes with a topping of Milo powder. I am a fanatic fan of peanut, and the peanut ice blended 花生搅 was a great try indeed. A sip of the peanut blend emits a nice scent of peanut for a great satisfaction. If you wish, you may commingle the milo powder with the peanut drink and it yielded an unexpected and elusive drink, though the peanut fragrance might have been reduced. 

It was my first time come across peanut ice blended, and it will definitely miss it in future time.

Red Bean Ice Blended 红豆搅 is another special drink by churning the red beans into a drink. The granular drink has a special scent of red bean, not the typical red bean you may come across. However, I find mixing it with the milo powder topping made it lose the original taste. 

If you are not familiar with Sungai Petani town and wanted to enjoy a cup of drink here, just exit from Sungai Petani south toll and go to Sungai Petani town. Once reaching the traffic light (look at your right and you could notice Klinik Pergigian Raaj and Klinik Pergigian Ridzam), just before Sungai Petani police station, turn left and you will arrive to the bus or taxi station as depicted on the picture above. Head into the small pathway just beside the small car (kancil) on the picture and you will arrive at the stall. It is located beside the river.
