Mu Tong Hokkien Mee 木桶福建面 @ Sin Hwa Coffee Shop, Penang

Mu Tong Hokkien Mee was such a hot hit in Pg Food Hunter A Team in Facebook. We have been to Sin Hwa coffee shop to try their Char Koay Teow and Laksa but we were not even aware the presence of a hokkien mee stall there. Feeling guilty not knowing the seemingly nice hokkien mee, I leverage on an occasion to have my breakfast at Sin Hwa coffee shop.

The hokkien mee comes in 3 price (RM 4, 5, 6). I ordered a bowl for RM 5.00 and the portion was just decent for a small appetite person and it comes with quite a number of small prawns. The soup possess a thick texture and luscious, with a little sense of spicy once the chilli is added. I would say it is one of the authentic or kochabi hokkien mee taste.

You will have the urge to finish the whole bowl of soup and will not feel cloyed after that.
