Those who
bounded to heavy duty at midnight may head for a warm bowl of bak kut teh for
revitalization. Look for Lau Fu Zi Bak Kut Teh at Jalan Air Itam, just opposite
of Xin Ji De Shi HK Dimsum.
Served in a
bowl of moderate herbal taste soup filled with pork intestines, both lean and
fat meats, pork livers and and crispy pork balls. The soup was served hot and
getting cold from time. Dipping the various pork elements into a mixture of
dark soy sauce and chili imparted great taste to it.
3 types of
rice are available to choose – yam rice, oily rice and plain rice. One may opt
for extra plate Eu Char Koay to complete the traditional set of bak kut teh.
If it is late in midnight, you may park your car at the surrounding area. If earlier than 11pm perhaps parking may pose a challenge, Alternatively, Lau Fu Zi Bak Kut Teh is available at Jalan Paya Terubong as well.Â
