Eventually, we are back to Kuching after a long journey driving from Miri. Here I am sharing some tourist spot and food we had.
One of the famous and iconic cat monument that located Cat Monument which is located just opposite the Riverside Majestic Hotel on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Abell. Location map refer here.
Another famous one would be at Jalan Padungan. That white cat always dress up according to special occassion. Location map refer here.

Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilition Center, ticket for student was RM1.50.
Richie, the biggest Orang Utan in Semenggoh. Too bad we were not able to meet him. 3 crocodiles there for you to visit while idling waiting the gate to orang utan feeding platform open.
Short briefing before we are allowed to enter feeding area. We were not allow to take photo with flash and hide your umbrella because those orang utan might think they are under attack.

Found the second toll in East Malaysia on our way to Sarawak's Cultural Village at Damai Santubong.
Some of the nice wall paint at the roundabout before you arrive at cultural village.
Cultural Village's ticket for student cost the damage of RM 15. Sticker on our shirt before enter.
Showtime for Cultural Village's show happens daily from 11.30pm - 12.15pm & 4.00pm - 4.45pm.
Great view of Santubong hill as Cultural village located at the food of Santubong hill.
This Kenyalan replica bird statue was in construction but now it is readied for photo taking.
Stop by Damai beach resort to enjoy the view from Damai Beach. Spotted a selfish driver occupied two parking lot. Amaazed by Kuching's parking style.

Fairy Cave and Wind Cave kind usually been visited in one short because they are near to each other at Bau. You will reach Wind Cave before Fairy Cave. I personally prefer enter Fairy Cave first because it involved a a number of staircase climbing and makes me sweat alot while Wind Cave on the other hand very windy.
A lot of water drops falling down from the hole opening at the top. With the sunlight coming in, it is just like a fairy scene. Too bad my camera wasn't good enough to capture those stunning water dropping effect coming through the top.

Wind cave was windy and dark. It has 3 type of Passage and toilets are available. Prepare torch light before you come or you can rent it there. Here, you can have a close up view on bats, stalagmites, stalactites and pillars. The pathway inside could be a little slippery due to Bats' excrement. It's better you wear a pair of shoe with strong grip.
All the national parks operating hour is from 8.30 am-4.30 pm.

Chong Chon Cafe 长春茶室 stituated near 3rd miles Mcdonald. It's famous for it's Spinach noodle, 菠菜面. It came with homemade spianch noodle and Char Siew and stir it with their specially mix soy sauce. It looks simple but it tasted extremely scrumptious.

Breakfast time at Open Air market, we had Siew Mai, Kolo Mee and Soy Milk. What noteworthy is the soy milk taste very thick and it was a great pleasure enjoying the aroma of soya. Although this must not be the best Kolo Mee in the town but worth trying.

Lao Lee Coffe Shop (老李) located opposite Kuching's Specialist Center is one of the food paradise in Kuching either in the noon or night.
You Tiao (油条) with the filing of Special kaya + butter flavour and special mayonnaise + butter flavour.
Bao Gong Mee, 包公面 is the vinegar version of kolo mee which I found it very interesting and delicious.
Popia 薄饼 is a dry version with generous amount of ingredient, I like the mixture of bangkung and peanut. It taste great especially with the given special black sauce.
Roti Canai. Quite delicious but still prefer the mamak stall in Penang.
All these were from the morning until afternoon session. During the night time, I personally found the Siew Mai, Char Koay and curry chicken rice taste great.

This stall sell very expensive Laksa.
Foody Goody Cafe situated beside Kuching's Specialist Center. We went during breakfast hour. Ah Mui Laksa is really famous in Kuching but I found it overprice. This laksa cost us RM 6 and tasted just average. The reason why it is so expensive because they included a lot of big prawn.
Kolo Mee is available there and I find this very delicious!
You may try on Sawarak's specialty, warm Peppermint. Very cooling.

Fish Head Noodle 鱼之香 situated behind One TJ.
Dry noodle with fish in milky soup 鲜奶鱼片干面. The soup can be very appetizing at first but one might be jelak at the end of the meal.

Joyful Garden Cafe 喜茶室 located behind Hock Lee Center and they only selling Kolo Mee
Teh C Special, the must try drink in Sarawak.
Kolo Mee Special is special just because the extra added on ingredients of prawn and meatball.
Their normal kolo mee tasted average.

Dim Sum in the morning with a bowl of Longan drink.
Yam puff was very nice while Shao Pao 烧包 tasted average only.
Char Siew Bun叉烧包 & Siew Mai烧卖 are my favourite in Kuching.
Kok Zai 角仔, Bread with Cheese and Ham layering 芝士火腿面包 & White carrot cake 萝卜糕. All are nectarous.
Xing Hua Mee 兴化面 is one of the must try. Very nice food presentation. A lot of ingredients with broth posses natural sweetness.

Song Kheng Hai Ground Food and Recreation Centre might looks dodgy but a lot of delicious food hidden here.
Coconut with sugar cane drink from stall #24 is the must try drink. The best combination of drink and the best thirst quenching drink.
Tomato Kuey Teow tasted not bad.
Foo Chow's Kompia 光饼 from stall #7. The bagel like bun topped with sesame and filled with juicy Char Siew. Prepare for long waiting as their orders are overwhelming.

Sunny Hill Ice Cream sell only ice cream and has different flavor every two days. It's really a special shop.
We opted for vanilla ice cream since flavor of the day was Pandan. I have seen them having Pandan and Chocolate flavor while vanilla available daily.

Hong Kong Noodle House 香港面粥家 at Jalan Padungan.
Teow Chew Porridge 潮州粥 came with 4 side dishes and a big bowl of porridge. Definitely a gratifying set of meal.
Yeung Chow fried rice 扬州炒饭 tasted really good.
These roasted pork 烧肉 was not bad, some of them might be too hard and crunchy to chew.

Siew Mai 烧卖 from 新光兴 during dinner hour. Kuching's Siew Mai has very different appearance and taste than East Malaysia. It situated at Jalan Padungan. Just after you enter the door having White Cat statue.

Pork Satay was nice even without the peanut sauce.
Spicy Charkoay 炒粿on the left while the right is salty. I personally prefer spicy one more. They have another interesting option which is sweet.

Kuching's typical hawker centre at Hui Sing Garden but also another food paradise.
I was told that Ah Meng is the first inventor of these drinks: White Lady, Dunhill and Marbolo.
White Lady, special and nice. It has mango taste.
Dunhill was very cooling.
Pork satay from stall #10. Their pork satay was awesome but the only drawback would be the sauce. Recommend that you just eat the satay.
Super scrumptious Shao Lak Rice 烧腊饭 with roasted pork and char siew.
